A special thank you to Rob at Glowbox Arena Today!

Today we went to Peppa Pigs big day out. When the tickets were booked they only had disability spots for wheelchair users only and not for non wheelchair users with limited mobility. Ticketek assured us the tickets would be easily accessible but they weren't. And with the long lines going in, having ehlers danlos and orthostatic tachycardia syndrome meant I couldn't easily stand in the long lines without fainting. We got into line to go in but everything started going black and fuzzy so I was able to ask for help and allowed in via another door. And once we got to our seats we faced another issue, getting to them. Now I can walk despite the Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, but the moment I start to stand still, thats when I start to faint and ehlers danlos causes my joints to dislocate while walking. Unfortunately since my 1 million steps for EDS campaign in May, I've had to face the loss of my mobility more and more and more and more complex regional pain syndrome flare ups. A incredibly kind gentleman named Rob working for the events centre was able to arrange for our seats to be reassigned to make things easier for us. Living with invisible disabilities, it can be incredibly hard to ask for help and for people to recognise when you need help. So thank you especially to Rob and thank you to the other wonderful staff at Claudelands event centre/Glowbox arena. Despite it being an absolutely full event, and being incredibly busy, Rob took the time to help us with re arranging our seating so I didn't have to struggle with getting up the stairs. And it truly meant so much to us! I hope you are able to see this and pick as many pieces as you like from our site because it's the least we can do to show our gratitude! Thank you for making the show an incredibly enjoyable experience!
